Hey folks...forgive the ignorance...but what's up with Julia Crab's site (Epicurean Crab)? I've not been able to access it or the safe foods list...while we're on the subject of din-din! =)
BTW...my babes had dried krill, baby shrimp, tubifex (sp?) worms, coconut, sweat potato, carrot, crushed nuts, some crushed sand dollar/cuttlebone, and rosehips (THEY LOVE THESE!). Tonight was a dried food night...the humidity rehydrates the food perfectly and they tear into it. There were 4 crabs eating less than 2 hours after the food went in! =)

The safe food list was copied in this thread... you can see it here until the EH link is working again.

Special treat tonight...I threw in a deveined but still shell-on shrimp. I have tried shrimp in the past but the herms never touched it...today, however, they attacked it like piranahs to an unluck gringo swimmer! It was amazing!
Okay, they also had their staple dried protein - tubifex worms, baby shrimp, and bloodworms...throw in some crushed mixed nuts for fun. They had their staple dried plants...rosehips (crushed), coconut, banana, sweet potato and carrots. And some fresh food...celery, broccoli, and cherry tomato (all diced finely). Sprinkle all with a mix of pulverized sanddollar and cuttle bone.
So...nice spread, eh? Three different food dishes, quite the choices...and still one knuckle head was eating sand. What is wrong with them?!?!?! It's the public education system I tell you! =p
