They loved it! I made some chamomile, lightly sweetened with honey. I tore the teabag open, dumped the contents into a seashell, and added a little of the liquid tea. When I checked on them at night, two of them were at the shell. I couldn't tell if they were eating the mushy tea leaves, drinking the liquid, or both, but they seemed to be enjoying their treat. (The 3rd crab is buried somewhere and missed out!)

I usually love all herbal teas! I think that these hibiscus flowers are old. we have had them for 10 years and they may have lost there flavor. I will retry hibiscus tea when i get new freshly dried ones! How much is shipping at mountain rose herbs??

Well, my last order I made was for my Kilimanjaro's Kibbles store and I had ordered almost $200 worth of stuff in bulk, so the package was heavy and shipping was around $17. Smaller orders are usually around $7-$10.

They have so many crab-friendly products there though. :D Of course, they aren't advertised as crab products so you have to know what you're looking for. Plus, it's all in bulk, so while some prices may seem expensive, you're getting soooo much!

Haha, okay. Let's see...

rooibos
bee pollen
hibiscus
dandelion root
spirulina
nori
bladderwrack
irish moss
white oak
dandelion greens
basil
shiitake mushroom
hibiscus
acerola
rose
dulse flakes
kelp powder
cranberry powder
goji berry
honeysuckle
parsley
passionflower
wheat grass

And that's just from doing a quick run through. There are a lot of other things, too!

I love Mountain Rose Herbs! :) It's such a great place to buy lots of healhy, organic stuff for the crabs. Plus, they all come in bulk, so it's great to put in my kibbles.

It depends on the variety. Regular tea is considered unsafe, but some herbal teas are okay, depending on their ingredients.

Pure hibiscus tea is okay, as well as rooibos tea. Chamomile is also okay. :)

I'm not sure if this would be an obvious question, but would black tea be considered okay for them to eat?
