I would not feed raw meat/eggs to my crabs. Most people never have a problem...until they have a problem.

When my Mom became sick and had a challenged immune system I needed to be hyper-aware of sources of bacteria that could make her ill. Food handling and preparation was important. Going out in public was always a risk for her too, because you never know what people are carrying. They might not be sick themselves but they could be carrying things that make others sick. While my Mom has since passed I think about how many people I come into contact with every day and how the actions I take affect them all.
If you do choose to feed raw items your best bet is to buy from trusted sources and not just the cheapest stuff. When I still ate meat I did eat raw salmon, yellow tail, tuna, etc. in sushi, but I wouldn't get my sushi from just any place. Who you get your raw meat/eggs from and their husbandry practices plays a big part in how likely the meat/eggs is to harbor amounts of bacteria that pose a risk to humans (and some pets). And of course as was said the young, the old, and those with challenged immune systems will be more susceptible to harmful bacteria.
