You can soak grains in it and they can eat it that way. You can also stick it in a blender with [stuff] and freeze the smoothie and give some smoothie pieces!

Some one told me the milk is bitter right out of the shell?
Either way I have an idea... What if I mix the coconut milk with some oats (like YYWW said) add some of the coconut meat, and maybe a little honey? I can make little crab cake desserts for them or I could add an egg and maybe cook it as little cookies. For some coconut crab cookies? Kinda sounds good...

Lol I'll tell you how my crab macaroons come out ps there is a video somewhere on how to open up a coconut, but it's really easy. They have these little soft spots that you can drill (or hammer a screw driver in there like me...) and drain out all the milk. Then if u look you will find a natural seam that goes along the coconut. Give it a good whack on a hard surface (my front stoop is concrete stairs so the edge was perfect) following that seam and it falls right open. I think I whacked it along the seam for two turns of a coconut lol and it opened right up!

Nope. I don't find coconut water bitter at all. Just delicious! But I know many people don't like it.

Today crabbies got...
-a chunk of shrimp (cooked)
-coconut (boiled)
-strawberry
-green bean (raw)
-egg shell (always available to them)
And after all that they decided to scrape off and eat some of their clamshell bowl, and eat the moss pit. They did enjoy the strawberry and shrimp first though. I spent like the entire evening watching them and skipped dinner :).
