Apple, jicama, zuccini, cooked unseasoned chicken, spirulina, a bit of commercial food, and ground cuttle bone (for Cardinal, he came up from his second molt and re-joined the main tank yesterday). :D

My hermlits get my mix that I made for them over the weekend...I call it, "Hermit Mush". ^__^

It consists of:
Walnuts
Almonds (unsalted)
Oatmeal
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Apple
Grape
Raisins
Strawberries
Tomatoes

Looks terrible, smells awful (strawberry-grape-tomato smell...ew). They seem to like it though...they also enjoy eating the Calcisand as well. ^__^ Next time my my mutti or vati make some meat the hermies shall partake in it too! Yay!

Oak and maple leaves
crushed algae wafer
apple slices

Question: Is the meat of an acorn safe for crabs? I thought since it was bright orange it would be high in beta carotene--also I know oak leaves and wood are good, so wondered if acorns are included.
