You want to go with organic peanut butter: no preservatives, no salt, no sugar or corn syrup. Avoid the standard brands such as Jif, Peter Pan, etc, as they all have a ton of additives that even we shouldn't eat. All the natural food stores (Whole Foods, Sprouts, Sunflower Markets, etc) have freshly-made nut butters and also stock many lesser known brands with no additives.
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch
On the Big Beach in the Sky: Murray, Gino, Oscar, Gordon, Ignatz, Harry and King Felix the Pale

I think there may be a few brands at a regular grocery store that would be acceptable but I can't remember off the top of my head. I get mine at the local natural food store, like Crabinski said. They have peanuts loaded into a machine and you just hold a container under it and grind it yourself. It's pretty awesome, and I can get smaller quantities without having to worry about it going bad. While you're there, you can also get some local, natural honey to mix with it! It's a favorite in my tank. :)
Crabbing since July 2014! 75 gallon with 12 Purple Pinchers.

MaraNatha if I can find it or Justin's.

You could also just pick up some unsalted roasted peanuts and puree them with a drizzle of olive oil in a food processor.

Edit: I'm jealous of you guys with stores like Whole Foods or Sprouts. I think the closest to me is a Whole Foods in NJ. :(
