wasabi
so I just got some unexpected wasabi seeds in the mail (they weren't meant to be shipped to me) and I don't have any use for it, so I'm wondering if the crabs can eat the plant? im assuming it wouldn't be good for them, but I figured it was worth asking. I can't find it on any of the safe or unsafe foods lists and I would love to have a new food to grow for them
. but if they can't eat it I'm hoping my snails can. and if neither one can eat it.. I may just grow it to see what happens or they'll end up being thrown away.

Re: wasabi
It's a type of brassica, and it is safe. Same family as radish and cabbage. Hermits do like hot things, mine would tear through peppers that left me burning! I'm not sure if anyone has tried true wasabi before - the packaged stuff for sushi is almost never the real stuff.
