Is Escargots Safe?

I found this at Walmart and bought it for the shells it was only 1.98. Im certainly not gonna eat the escargots it came with is it safe for the hermies?

I'm going to Walmart to get that.

oh crap your right just looked at the receipt it was 9.98. someone must have put them in front of the wrong price tag

i see what your saying also on there website it refers to packs of 6. I was able to buy just one tube with 12 shells for 9.98

It is still a good deal.
I pay more for less shells. Shipping costs make shells more expensive.

I'm pretty sure the snails themselves are safe, but any other ingredients?

I'm not sure about cloves. Laurel is on the unsafe and unpopular list.

I think you cook the escargot then place them back in the shells to serve...
