Post by Cumba » Tue Jun 23, 2015 6:53 am

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if calcium carbonate powder is safe. Here is the link http://www.nowfoods.com/Calcium-Carbona ... r-12oz.htm
Thank you!

Hi! Check this out: viewtopic.php?t=92557

Mollusk shells and limestone are comprised of calcium carbonate. I've never personally used it because it is just easier to give them a cuttlebone or eggshell. They like to pick and tear so I just use those in addition to good chitin sources like dried crickets.

You can also smash unusable shells for them as well.
