Hi everyone.
I know this sounds a little bit stupid, but is there any way to dry honey? I know about bee pollen. I just don't know where to order it. Also, I'm looking for a wallet friendly solution.

As far as bee pollen, it can be bought online in quite a few places - Etsy, eBay, Amazon. I know you can buy dried honey as well, but I'm not sure if it has other stuff added.

No problem! Mine love honey as well, and I keep thinking about trying to dehydrate it but haven't gotten around to it. If you haven't already, try mixing honey with all natural peanut butter - I get a crab feeding frenzy whenever I do that.

Its so funny that you post this, as I was just researching how to dry it out. Unfortunately, its difficult to buy online bc many of the retailers add cane sugar or other dangerous additives. You can dry out honey yourself.. it just takes a while. You have to make sure to spread it out as thin as possible on your parchment paper when you put it in your oven/dehydrator and make sure you keep on about 120 degrees. After you dry it out, just stick it in a processor/blender to crush it up.

One lovely thing about honey is that it never goes bad. So even if you don't dehydrate it, a bottle that is just for the crabbies could last a year or more. It might start to crystalize at some point but you can still eat it like that or heat it up to dissolve the crystals and it's good to go again

^^And thank goodness for that because at like $9 a jar for raw organic I need it to last

Organic honey means the bees can't harvest from any area with pesticides. It's worth it to get the organic or at least local honey because something like 75% of honey sold in the USA doesn't actually have any pollen in it thanks to super filtration - with no pollen, there's no real proof of the country of origin and there's no real proof that it's real honey.

That was actually one of the most interesting things I have ever read.
