Yep :) We love Wodesorel's hermit crab cookies. My crabs fight over them and hide them from each other :)

I make mine like real cookies. Without the addition of non-human crab foods (plants, proteins, egg shells, etc.) the base recipe tastes really good! I make plain ones for myself. I use a base of organic coconut flour and some organic wheat flour or organic buckwheat flour since without the gluten they crumble. Coconut oil and LOTS of eggs to bind, like brownies. A little water to make it all come together. If it's really crumbly, it needs more eggs, not water. It should be like playdough. Once it looks good you can add in anything you want - dried fruit, peanut butter, etc. I bake like meringue at 225-250 until set and dried. The big thing is making sure they are completely dry if you aren't going to store in a freezer. I either put them on the dehydrator on low for a day or two, or run them in the oven on the lowest setting with the door cracked overnight.

Where do I start?
-Pears
-Brine Shrimp
-Peanut Butter
-Florida Marine Research's Fruit Salad
There's so much more! I picked their top 4.

Wodesorel- LOL! I make dog treats. I might like them more than cookies! YUM!

Forgot about the organic coconut sugar. It needs to be sweet like fruit.

Cumba, definitely! I don't like super sweet things.

Add coconut sugar! Or honey. Both are loaded with good vitamins and minerals and it sweetens the cookies so the crabs will be interested in it, just like they would with a piece of fruit. I've tried it both sweetened and unsweetened, and the crabs have a sweet tooth. (Which makes sense given their natural diet.) Just don't go overboard. You want it to be like an apple, not like breakfast cereal or a real cookie. I use a couple Tablespoons per batch, and a batch is an overloaded Kitchenaid mixer. (I've never written down a recipe. Every time is an adventure!)
