I didn't see this in the search I tried or on the safe and unsafe foods.
Can the hermies eat organic coconut flour? It's only ingredient is organic coconut.

I am curious to know this too. I use it occasionally, and if I could use it for crab cookies, that would be awesome

I dont have a recipe :/ I was going to experiment. Add things like raisins, sunflowers, and daffodils. We will see how it works out lol.

Just an fyi. Daffodils are toxic to many animals. I don't know for sure about hermit crabs but I definitely wouldn't trial them
in a recipe, but rather whole. Though honestly, I wouldnt trial them at all with my crabs.

I didn't mean daffodils xD I keep calling dandelions daffodils for some reason.
I blame this darned medicine they're making me take. They have my brain cells all jacked up... Now I gotta make sure my shopping list that I sent to my man says dandelions not daffodils

Im going to be trying a batch of krill/carrot and sunflower seed /raison (or craison)/dandelion (mot daffodil, haven't taken meds yet) tonight. ^^ I will let you guys know the ratio of ingredients, effects of organic preservatives, and popularity among my little colony.

hopefully they turn out alright!! Just need some filler and coconut sugar. My man sucks at shopping

I use unsulphured coconut flour. Dunno if the sulphur would be a problem or not, but it's what I happen to have since I do a lot of GF baking for myself. I often mix it with honey and spirulina or kelp powder. I also put some coconut flour in the "vacation" mix, which is a mix of dehydrated veggies and meals that a friend feeds to the crabs when I'm out. (Vacation proteins are whatever canister of dried shrimp/bugs he feels like dishing out that day.)
They eat it. They prefer seeds and fresh coconut, of course.
