Dried fruit
When giving the crabs dried fruit do you need to moisten it. If I give them wet fruits I end up with fruit lies in the tat.

Nope
They pick and pull it apart, and the humidity actually reconstitutes it if it's in there long enough.

Thanks now maybe I won't get fruit flies in the tat.

I agree. Be cautious when feeding dried fruits that they don't contain chemical preservatives to prevent discoloration. Also, buy the ones that are unsweetened or sweetened with fruit juices. They could be moistened, but the crabs can handle it either way but they'll last longer staying dry.
