Carrots

Once upon a time ago my sisters kept giving the crabs carrots, almost every day. Eventually, when using my spray bottle to remove some of the poop from their climbing decor, I noticed that their poop turned orange! It was kinda funny. They really seemed to like the carrots though, they'd pull off shreds of them and I'd find them all over the tank. I only feed them them occasionally now.

Has anyone else ever had something like this happen?

I haven't been crabbing long enough to say, but this used to happen with my toddler, lol! I could always tell when he had spaghetti at grandma's house the night before!

I had a red mineral block and one of my crabs was chowing down on it apparently and freaked me out when he started pooping bright red! No one had ever touched the thing so I didn't even think about it at first.

One of my crabs was obsessed with popcorn. I saw him once munching on some while watching my lizard. I remembered I hadn't fed them popcorn for a day or so. Turns out he had a hole with a stash of it lolz

That's great, my crabs drag their food away to random areas of the tank and I have to find it all to clean up after them. It's a pain but funny
