I put food in there every two days - a wide variety (broccoli, romaine, corn, carrots, shrimp, pineapple, etc.- they haven't touched any of it. I've had them for two weeks now and I even grew chia seeds in there. The chia plants grew and then got slimy this morning. I also have mold growing, but I posted that in crabitat forum. I'm maintaining humidity just below 80%. I'm just now thinking these guys are much harder than I thought.

Hello
They are hard sometimes, depending on their size, they really don't eat all that much.
Crabs should go nutz for shrimp,if you try and smooth out the substrate around the food dishes and see if there is a crab trail to the food dishes at least they are checking the food out.
They only nibble I put watermelon slices in my tat hoping they would at least try it nothing
Good luck

A way I tell if mine have been eating is checking the food dish for substrate when I take it out.

If you put some crushed oyster shell in a mound and its flat after you can tell their eating a lot of dries foods.from for instance the hermit crab patch you can do this with. They also may be eating at night try and get a moon light and watch them at night and see what happens
