I haven't seen anything about orchid flowers, re: edibility. Anyone have any idea?
And an All Livng Things Variety Diet was purchased for the crabbies wat I oversee..... what do we think of this one ? Fine in small doses? I'm loath to toss it because it has some goodish stuff in it. (Not on lists.)
Ingredients:
Dried River Shrimp, Rice Bran, Wheat Middlings, Fish Meal, Alfalfa, Soybean Meal, Cane Molasses, calcium Carbonate, Corn Meal, Whey Protein, Chicken Meal, Dicalcium Phosphate, Salt, DL-Menthione, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Choline Chloride, Mendione Sodium Bisulfate Complex, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Sodium Selenite, Biotin, Manganese Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Calcium Iodate, Colbalt Sulfate
Salt seems high on the list... is this worrisome?

I don't feed any commercial foods. I'm working on reviewing and contacting all companies about their ingredients and researching their effects on crustaceans and insects, it's just taking time.

ALT is not the worst one out there, but it has to supplemented with fruit.

If you got it from petsmart you should be able to return it, even without a receipt and even if you've already used it. Since ALT is a "petsmart exclusive" brand it should be clear that that's where you got it. If you don't have the receipt anymore you'll probably only be able to get store credit, unless they've changed their policies since I left....
