When using eggshells for calcium, can you use pieces that are peeled off boiled eggs? If you use shells from raw eggs should they be washed?

Yes and not necessary. Depending on what country you live in, the eggs have been pasteurized.

Yup about peeled egg shells - you can leave the membrane attached too (frgget what it's called - brain blip).

Serve egg raw in the shell if you like.. hard or soft boiled, scrambled. ...fried if you don't use butter & salt.

Whatever you are willing to clean up the remnants of, you can put i the tank mfor them. :) just no seasoning apart frome safe -foods list stuff, like parsley or basil (fresh! ).
.

My crabs like the cooked or raw egg infrequently, but they love the shells baked and then ground with a molcajete into a fine powder.
