How do you feed cuttle bone?

Do you grind it up? Break it pieces? Just stick the whole thing in there?

I've seen it done all of the above ways.
I put a small piece at a time in addition sprinkling ground cuttlebone on their food. The small pieces make it last longer.

I do the surfboard method. It's fun watching them use their claws on it

Thanks everyone! I've dusted it and broken it up, but they don't seem to touch it. I'm going to try the surf board method tonight!
