Beef for crabs

Can I feed my crabs ground beef? I'm not sure if I can or not.

i do it all the time. i boil a little bit in dechlorinated water. its not a big hit in the Hotel, I must admit. but i still offer it when my daughter eats it

Hi Puoyo,
They can have ground beef, I personally wouldn't feet it unless it's a lean variety, preferably organic or grass fed.

Mine like it raw with lots of fat. Same as offering suit for the birds, I guess. They go nuts for trimmings from roasts, or a small chunk of stew meat.

I gave mine some raw ground beef last week and they went crazy for it. I thought I was never going to be able to finish picking little pieces of it out of the substrate.

I minced up some tenderloin scraps and red it raw last week. They ate it.

I feed my crabs raw or cooked beef when they're stocking up for a molt.

I give mine lean ground beef and also ground turkey. I fry a bit up for them and season with %100 natural Mediterranean Sea salt and they LOVE it! I did not know you could feed it raw though...I will be trying it next time!
