It is offered as a mineral supplement :) I offer mine in a shell :)

Edit: I offer organic greensand, and not colored calcium sand :)

I sprinkle a little over cork logs to encourage natural foraging behaviour. I like to imagine it's fun for them.... but who really knows if they care. :roll:

It's touted as a good new crab food because it's rich in mineraly fun.

Thanks, you've given me some ideas. I tried offering it in a food dish or on a clam shell but they didn't seem interested. They would just walk right over it.

Maybe mix a bit in with some dry food they like?
