We bought eggs for the first time in I don't know how long, and I was thinking about giving the crabs some of the shell, but I'm worried it'll start to smell. :P What do you all do with your eggshells?

I give them eggshells with some of the raw egg in it. I can leave it in there for 2 days and it won't smell.

I have only ever given egg shells from cooked eggs, so no worry of smell.

I do raw eggshells too, I make sure to thoroughly wash it out, dry it, and then I pop it in the tank. I usually keep it in there for about a week, maybe two. Never dealt with any smells or mold

I always kept eggshells in my tank until they were eaten up or buried in substrate.

I just offered some new eggshells, and I rinsed them off beforehand, only because I wanted to crush and store them.
You can give them freshly cracked egg shells, and leave the whites on the inside, they will actually enjoy eating that! :)

Any form will do.

I partially crush my shells with my hands, so the crabs get a mixture of both big and little pieces

Their only preference is whichever has the most egg on it!

Raw, boiled, scrambled... Whatever works for you.
