Soo....today is Thanksgiving Day! I know my lil guys are getting a small snippet of chicken and turkey...anyone else doing this? ( no seasoning I know this - plain and bland like I eat my food lol)
If not, anything special? I do it for my dog so I figured I would do it for the entire family! Who else gives a lil special treat that your pets aka family wouldn’t have any other time of the year?

I must’ve been in the wrong topic area. I’m sorry y’all. Still new to the way this forum works. I hope a mod can fix it for me? I’m sorry.

Moved to Food.
Not today's dinner, which is a chicken because my turkey is still rock hard.

I marinated it with lots of onions and garlic in buttermilk so I'll pass on the crabs getting any. When we fix the turkey this weekend though, I'm going to marinate it like an orange chicken, so the crabs should love it, too!

Ty for moving it!
I hope you had an amazing day and enjoyed your chicken! I’m sure your crabbies will love the turkey!

I give them the giblets, raw and neck, cooked. I cut up small pieces, wrap in tinfoil, and put it in the freezer for another day.

That’s awesome! Do they all eat that or just one or two? I should’ve froze some and didn’t think of it .... next time! Thanks for the idea!

Mine only get the liver (raw) and they go nuts for it. I use the rest of the giblets for gravy!

Omg y’all! So I woke up and checked in on the crabbies only to find ALL of the turkey I gave them gone! Not a scrap left! I didn’t think they would even like it tbh! I saved chicken for them in the fridge so I guess I’ll try to give them something like that as much as possible! Wow I can’t believe it! Lol at least now I know I have more than just pet sand

That's very nice that you've been able to feed your crabs fresh meat! For our Thanksgiving feast, I snuck home some food from Grandma's, and I got some celery, cherry tomato, celery, watermelon and plain turkey! It seems like Hermes likes the turkey!
