HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hi There!
I was wondering if hermit crabs could eat wet or dry cat food? Wet food by like canned cat food and dry food as in kibble.

Most cat foods have preservatives, salt and other things that aren't good for hermit crabs. The hermit crabs could technically eat it, but feeding that stuff is strongly discouraged here at the HCA and other organizations.

I do offer my crabs one type of Fancy Feast cat treats. They come in single serving pouches and are single ingredient. They have variety packs that have chicken, salmon, and tuna. They are hit and miss in my tank.
