What do you have out at all times?

Just wondering if there are foods that should be available all the time, even during a molt (in case they come up when you aren't home/are sleeping). I have worm castings, chia seeds and sprouts, cuttle bone, and grow celery in the tank all the time, they seem to like the leaves.

I'm especially worried right now because all three seem to be molting at the same time. We've only been putting the food bowl in every other day because there's no evidence they're coming up yet, like foot prints in the smoothed sand, missing food, etc.

Also, could putting smellier foods in the tank entice them out if they aren't molting (I'm at the worried stage of molting, can you tell lol)

I would leave a small dish of dried food in the tank at all times, even if everyone is molting. You never know when they are going to pop up and be hungry. You can just leave the food in until it starts to go bad, then change it out for a fresh dish.
I leave dishes of calcium powder and greensand in the tank at all times along with cuttlebone.
I wouldn't worry about enticing them to come out. When they get hungry or thirsty they'll pop up. ImageImage

It's my first molt and I really miss them, LOL. The biggest one has been done for 6w and the two smaller ones for 3w. I'll put some dry food and egg shell powder out for them, as they don't seem to like the cuttle bone much.

I totally understand. I miss mine when they're under too! Give calcium powder a try sometime. Mine go crazy for it! Image

He's back!! When I got home from work last night I noticed half the chia garden was caved in. Crab Latte was in the coconut hut, just chilling. He's eating really well.

Where do you get your calcium power at? He's devoured the eggshell powder and is even nibbling the cuttle bone.

I get crushed oyster shell and other calciums from HermitGrub! She also provides other amazing foods my crabs really like.

Yay that's awesome!

I get my powder on Amazon, but I believe pet stores sell it too. Here's the link for ya:
