HCA: Hermit Crab Association

i know pumpkin seeds and stuff are safe but just making sure. if i save some fresh melon seeds (specifically cantaloupe) can i give them to my crabs? and do i just leave them plain, like washed, or do they need to be broken up or baked or something?

Cantaloupe seeds are edible for humans (raw or cooked) so I don’t see any reason that hermit crabs can’t eat them, too.
