HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I've been experimenting with home made food mixes for my crabbies, and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried feeding them zinnia petals. I can't find it on the flower lists. I was thinking they might be fun to forage for in the leaf litter (after I dry them). just checking. Oh, and lichen too.

Zinnia are safe, no known toxins so I would consider it fine to add.

Lichen is algae/fungi, safe to add.
