crab oatmeal cookies

Post by annopia » Sat Dec 23, 2006 6:01 pm

I wanted to make something special for my crabs for the holidays, so i modified an oatmeal cookie recipe to be crab safe. here are the ingrediants (in the order that they are added):

1/4 stick butter
1.5/8 or 3/16 cup pure maple sugar
1/4 egg
1.5/8 or 3/16 cup whole wheat flour
1.5/4 or 3/8 cup oats

they came out pretty well considering they are missing some key human elements of cookies. i even tasted them and they weren't half bad. this recipe makes 8 or so cookies, so i'm going to freeze the rest.

i baked them at 375, like the regular oatmeal cookies. i didn't set the timer, just waited until they started to brown at the edges before taking them out.
