I put a piece of watermelon in last night and they really enjoyed it. I believe the rind is also safe to give them. :wink:

Watermelon is completely safe. :wink: If I'm not mistaken it can help bring out red/orange colors in crabs, right?

I think it does have some carotene and other pigment molecules in it. I don't think it's extremely high in those color-changing nutrients, but it contains a small amount. :wink:
