Just wondering. Is it safe to give them chocolate?

I've seen chocolate on the 'unsafe' foods list - i don't feed it to my crew!

I think chocolate is actually on the "don't know" list. Because dogs and other mammals cannot consume chocolate (at least in large quantities), no one is sure or is willing to risk. :)

It's best to stay away from chocolate! :D

it says no on the unsafe list, my guess would be all the sugar and refined stuff would be really bad for them even if they didn't have the same problems with it as cats or dogs.

Even if you get the dark unrefined, low-sugar chocolate, it does contain a lot of stimulants (which is why humans like it!) such as caffeine and theobromine. This is what makes it toxic to cats and dogs, so I don't think it's worth the risk to try it with your crabbies.

dogs probably have different problems with chocolate than crabs, and since white chocolate has no cocoa, it probably has some other refined chemically cocoa butter thing instead...

White chocolate is made from sugar, cocoa butter, and milk solids (also sometimes flavoring and lecithin). So I'd say no.
