2 days ago i made a cup of Chamomile tea and gave a small dish to my crabs. Pretty soon i saw them dipping there claws in it.
Tonight i made green tea with mint and gave my crabs a small dish of it and now Pesto is going towards it.
Has anyone else tried to give there crabs tea?

I've given them green tea before. They didn't seem too interested. They took a sip or two, but decided they didn't like it much.

It's a certain kind of tea, though one that I've never heard -
Sampling some hermit-safe rooibos tea blend:
Looks like the crabs liked it, judging from the picture.

I have had rooibos tea. I believe it is an African tea. It has a reddish brown color to it...and I believe it is naturally caffeine free. I am not in love with it, but it is good if you like exotic teas.

I've fed the dry tea to the crabs. I've not tried giving them actual brewed tea though. I would think that the smell and taste of the tea would let the crabs know it is not shell suitable.

I never thought about giving them tea! I have some chamomile and rooibos teas. Will have to try giving them some and see if they like it. I wonder if they'd like it sweetened with honey?
