As far as I can remember Mopani ,grape, ghost wood, driftwoods are ok and will not harm the crabbies. They like to pick at every thing don't they?

Yea they do. Nemo sat there for a few HOURS picking at the wood. At first I thought it was just hiding at the end of it. Later when it was still sitting there, i got the flash light and looked closer, it was eating it! I was like WOW! When Nemo finally wondered off, there was a huge hole and no mess on the sand, so it had to of been eating it. I was just really surprised and kinda worried! Thanks for letting me know its okay. :)

Mine sit for hours eating the mopani, cholla, and grapewood. :) After almost two years you can just start to see where the favorite dinnertime spots are as the wood has all these little tiny scrape marks! Small green branches from oak and maple have been an absolute hit, and within a few days nothing is left but tiny little splinters!
