Rearranged again

Post by NLindsey921 » Fri Jan 06, 2017 7:02 pm

I quite often get bored with the tank so i have rearranged it again. Tell me what you guys think. Imma buy a new vine cause the one I got is getting pretty worn down.

I'm also going to redo the pools as well and I might sink them. I'm undecided though because I do have a couple es and am trying to keep as much digging room as possible.

I ageee that more digging room is better for the e's. The tank looks great!

Thanks. My only thing is that I want a completely different look for the pool without the nets on the side. How could I create the look i want and have it sit up but still be able for the crabs to get in.

You could use wood/cholla or large river rocks and lean them against the outside or prop them up in the sub in a way that /looks/ like you're doing that, then it would look earthy and you wouldn't have to see the bowls. (:

I did these bowls for myself last night with river rocks and sealant, but I sink mine so I don't have to worry about the outside.

Yeah. That's the look I want. I just need to figure out the outside. If I can't then I'll just sink them maybe half way so that tiny can loop her leg over. However she is so little, I might have to sink them all the way.

I think half-sunk with some wood could be nice looking. No matter which way you go with it, I'm sure it'll be great!

Yeah. Gonna go to walmart next chance I get and see about making the pools. They have to be pretty deep for jimbo. He's my largest and his claw is a good inch long. Tiny is my smallest and her claw is a quarter inch. Maybe smaller.

I actually found my containers at Publix (a grocery store). Target didn't have the sizes I needed.

I have also used silicone to glue rocks and fake plants on the outside of my dishes so my hermits can climb and they look nicer. Maybe that?

Looks really good tho! Im annoyed i got the zoo triangle and its to small for my tank.
