Silicone works. And is safe. Most people on here recommend a brand called dap

You can go the the pet stores and buy aquarium sealant. Here are name brands that make aquariums:

Large tube: https://www.amazon.com/Aqueon-100165010 ... um+sealant
Some people don't buy name brand, and go to the home improvement stores and get stuff there. I just don't know the brands, sorry. By the way, do this outside, and allow it to dry completely before placing it in your crabitat.
