Cleaning inside tank
I just bought a new 10 gallon tank for my new hermit crab. I just added a natural play sand mixture with coconut fiber 5:1 ratio. Now the inside of the tank walls are dirty from mixing. What is safe to use on the glass? White vinegar water mix?

Yep that's fine. Ypu can also just use a damp paper towel... but most likely the crabs will throw sand everywhere

I figured. How long should I wait to put the crab in its new environment. It's been 3 hours since I made the sand mixture with hot water.

As soon as the substrate is cool to the touch. I use a spare silicone spatula to wipe the glass clean everyday just so I can see better.Patscrabfan74 wrote:I figured. How long should I wait to put the crab in its new environment. It's been 3 hours since I made the sand mixture with hot water.
