do you have somewhere warm you can put the tank? depending on your hermit crab species, 70 is still going to be too low. also for the humidity, if its still not keeping humidity, you could try buying a used glass or plastic lid/cover for the tank.

you could try possibly putting foil on the back of the tank and putting it in a spot where the foil will absorb sunlight but the rest of the tank is in the shade? i dont know
