what can i use instead of aquarium sealant?

i seem to have lost my bottle of aquarium sealant, and i need to attach something in the tank. what else could i use to do that? its not for sealing a leak, its gluing something to something else. will regular craft glue work, or is it toxic? i was thinking maybe clear packing tape, but will they pick it off and eat it?

I'm sure craft glue isn't too good for hermies, but I'm not 100% sure.

You can always go out to Home Depot and get yourself some 100% silicone. Get the kind for windows, kitchen and bath silicone often has stuff for mold and mildew. I've also heard some Depots have aquarium silicone.

i had a guess that regular glue wasnt so good... i could try the silicone stuff if we go to home depot or whatever, maybe mom could look tomorrow. then again the sealant might turn up under the bed or something :hlol:

I have successfully used a hot glue gun for gluing things in my tat.
