Only if you want to be 100% organic...but, by the time they grew and produced fruit/veggies they would be okay if you decided not to buy organic.

Edit: If you use organic soil and organic fertilizers of course ;)

Yes Image I have a bedroom full of aquariums. A 100g crabitat, 75g crabitat, a 55g ball python tank, and another 55g tank that I'm going to eventually convert to another crabitat. We used to have a yellow rat snake, up until last week, but we rehomed it bc my son was nervous with it. The snakes are "his" even though I care for them. Fortunately for my son I love all animals/creatures. One of these days if you really want a room like that you can do it too! Image

:? I currently do not have any rooms open. And my parents will definitely not let me. But when I get my own place when I am older, (I will deff have hermies then) maybe I will spare a room!

I suggested to my partner that when he moves into my apartment 'his' room (it's a two bedroom appt. ) could double as the crab room. I pointed out that it's bigger than my room.

Very choice words he had about that.

But on the subject of rooms, my master bedroom is HUGE! At one point we had twin bunk beds, a twin blow up mattress, a crib, a king bed, 4 chest dressers, a long dresser, and 2 night stands (we had 4 children sharing a room with us) And for those that are wondering, we were remodeling our house and had everyone in our room arranged like this for about 6 months.

Here's some pics:

Now, it's turned into our "tank" room/bedroom/office. When the sun comes up tomorrow, I'll update these pics!

Bamboo tank is 120G. When I upgrade the 90G to 125G, it's going to go where the desk is. The 90G is going to stay between the living room and kitchen and will eventually be turned into a bearded dragon tank.

He's actually very interested in them. And helps when needed. My mom on the other hand thinks we're nuts LOL.

He got upset when Bunk went down.... He went down 3 days after we got him

You don't get startled awake by shells crashing?

See that's the thing... I can't sleep in total quietness. I have to have a floor fan on (white noise). It drowns most of shell clinging noises out. This tank has been set up for about two months and they've yet to wake me.
