This is why they need species buddies... to congregate!

All three of them!

I think they will make it through their first molt with me. I've really been keeping a close eye on the tank all week and they've seemed fine (eating drinking roaming). The only thing i saw that seemed to be missing was none of the three were climbing very much and from what i read that is unusual for straws. All my crabs were out fighting for the hamster wheel (last man standing wins) and i believe this enticed them to do some exploring!

Loving these guys!
Sorry i know this thread is kinda dead but I'd like to keep this updated. As my goal (like most straw owners) is to keep them alive as long as humanly possible!

Literally all 11 crabs are up!
I need some molters to go down -__-
Or I'm gonna end up with a mass molt.

Gorgeous pics... it's nice to see them roaming more now... do they swim much for you?

Thanks for the support guys i was worried because i know they're fragile. I know it sounds dumb but i think they literally caught them when i ordered them. I'm sure they don't get them requested often. Maybe they had a less traumatic ride then your average pp.

I swore myself off from upgrading. I promised that this tank was the last one! This is my fourth tank
