New Crabitat!

So I've finally gotten my new exo-terra set up in a way that I think I'll keep. I've been moving a lot around but my crabbies seem pretty happy with the way things are set up now  But I do think I'll have to get some more pillow moss. I got petsmart brand, and it's been yellow like that ever since I put it in. If anyone has any tips on how to turn that green (aside from buying another brand) please let me know!

It's day time right now, so I'll post more pictures once everyone wakes up and starts destroying, I mean enjoying, the tank!

Ah, an ExoTerra...that explains all that wonderful height! I commented on the beauty of this tank on another post of the picture and am curious if the containers you've used as levels are made of glass, plexiglass or plastic.

Thanks all! The trays are acrylic with acrylic little legs I attached. My crabbies seem to be loving it! They've finally come out at a decent hour where I can snap some pictures for you guys :D half way through my photography session I did decide to remove the yucky yellow frog moss cause it just looked sad

I just got this little guy, Charlie, a few days ago from my local pet store. He looks pretty good in the photos, but the bottom part of most of his legs, like from the joint down, is missing. He's so full of life. I hope he goes for a molt really soon.

I love this little guy. Someone threw all the moss out of the coconut, so as I was stuffing it back in there he peeks out like "hey lady, we're trying to sleep in here" Image

Very creative set up! I'm loving those trays as well. They are so low-profile they are pretty and match the decor of your tank really well....I may have to look into some of those eventually, very good idea for your set up. I'm definitely loving all the climbing room your babies have in there! :)

Basically just a piece of cork bark. They have cork round and cork flats. My cork hide is a cork flat I leaned up against the wall to make a little spot for them to hide. And they love it. They sell cork bark in petsmart/petco and online by ZooMed. I get mine from Josh's Frogs (http://www.joshsfrogs.com/wood/cork-bark-flats-1.html) because you can actually see the size and shape of the piece you're getting. And it doesn't mold!

I have one of those coconuts with ladder but never thought of using it as a moss pit! This is why seeing pics of other crabitats is not only fun but very, very helpful.
