Rusty top

So the top of my tank is metal with plexiglass gorilla taped on top. I have rust between the metal and the glass. Is this a problem? Do I need to take the glass off and clean the rust off or can I leave it? If it needs to be cleaned, how would I do that? Thanks! ImageImageImage

Rust on your lid is a sign of good humidity but can be harmful to them of exposed to it. I would put packing tape (sticky side out) on it to eliminate exposure.

Okay thanks! Because they do love to climb upside down on the lid all the time and I worry about it.

Is it possible to move the plexiglass to the inside of it so that they cannot have access to the metal? Perhaps you can save up for a glass lid if that doesn't work? Good luck!
