New moss pit

Post by NLindsey921 » Sat Feb 11, 2017 1:51 pm

So you guys all saw my how to make a moss pit post. Thanks so much for responding. I have decided that I am going to do more than one. Right now I have replaced my cocohut with a moss pit made from beautiful red glass. I have frog moss in that one. I sank it a couple inches to make it easy to get in and out. Mr krabs already discovered it.

I haven't made the second one but for that one I am going to do a hanging one with sphangum moss.

Thanks guys. The moss is kinda smelly though. Is that normal for frog moss.

I've heard frog moss can smell earthy. It looks great though!

Thanks. I saw the bowl at work yesterday and thought it would look so beautiful in the tank. So o bought it thinking I could figure it out later. Then I decided it could be a moss pit.
