This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

Setting up a 50 gal crabitat!

Post by jdauby09 » Tue May 02, 2017 12:52 pm

So I am a complete beginner to the hermit crab world. We recently adopted 6 hermit crabs from a souvenir shop along the beach and we're completely unprepared. Can someone please help me in making sure I do this right and inexpensive? I have a 50 gallon tank right but I have no lid...I have no idea what I am doing and want to make sure I do this right.

Agree with above they offer as a good starting point for all. Substrate, food, water bowls, shells, heat and humidity, hiding and climbing places....
