Can I purchase ocean water from my local saltwater fish store to use for crabs saltwater and to mix the substrate?

I think this would be overcostly and also if there are any medications or treatments for the fish in the water it could harm the crabs.

If you don't have huge pools like I do, a bottle of Prime ($3-4) and a box of IO ($10 maybe) will last you at least a year. My Prime lasted me almost 2.
