Mold!

We are new owners - we may have over misted our tank - mold on the surface of substrate.
How do we get rid of it? Do we have to change it all? But I have read on here to not move a molter (if that is what he's doing - took new shell and buried himself, but not fully).

We may have one molter (can still see top of shell) and the other hasn't moved in three days, but isn't buried completely. We haven't had any smells from the tank, but, definitely not sure about what they are doing (except for possible molter).

Working on getting better food and can't add pools just yet with the mold and possible molter. Really hoping the one isn't dead as we'd have to get a new one and our only immediate option would be Petco or Petsmart.

I would just take the mold off the surface and any places you see rather than change all the substrate. What is the humidity in there?

Mold doesn't hurt the crabs, but it can be harmful to us. Just replace food. You can soak things in salt water, but it really isn't necessary.
