Tank Smell

Is it normal for your tank to be a little smelly? Not over whelming or like something is contaminated or rotting just a musty smell I believe from moist sand and EE. They won't be in this tank much longer just curious if anyone else opens their lid and gets a wiff that's a little funky. My tanks have always had the smell and I have never had any issues.

My tank has an "earthly" smell to it. Not overpowering. My wife says she smells it when she walks into my son's room. I, personally, do not... I only smell it lightly when close to the tank, and much more if I open the top.

My tanks always smell lightly musty, sort of like old library mixed with old fruit. I'm not sure how much of that is from humidity, and how much is from their poop.

I smell an earthy mixed with stuffy smell, my moss stinks and I think the cuttlebone has a slight odor too, but that's just me.

Well I guess if the correct conditions muster up a lil smell then we are fine and doing things right.
