HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Anyone have any ideas for possible power outages? I am going to get a bunch of hand warmers, like a Bunch, just in case, and reflectix, and big fluffy blankets, and water bottles. Lol, can you tell I am paranoid? Any other ideas? Anything is welcome, short of a mini generator because that is a bit too expensive and dangerous, I have already looked into them.

Hand warmers, but don’t let the crabs touch it

Yeah got that, and hot water bottles, and insulation. I am looking for any other obscure possibilities. I have only lost power once, but it was out for many blocks of my city for several days, so in that case, I would need hundreds of hand warmers possibly.

Just reading this now, you could put the crabs in Tupperwares and have moss, and tape a few handwarmers somewhere out of crabs’ reach

I have tupperware containers ready, trying to figure out the logistics of attaching the hand warmers, I guess tape?
