Climbing materials

So I just got a big tank 36x18x18 exoterra
And it has a foam rock background I'm taking out because i read it could be harmful to my Hermes but I have this coated screens I'd like to put up with a slight angle so its easier to climb but id like some opinions if they are ok to use just need to figure out how to post a pic lol

Hi! Welcome to the HCA! ;) I would not use them. Their legs could get stuck in them.

What if sheets of mesh used over it? Just curious

That would make it even more dangerous. You would be better to use safe wood (refer to the safe food list- then they need to be free of pesticides, fertilizers and mosquito spray), fish net, flat cork bark, or make your own background which could be time consuming but fun! Image
