HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Not been on here in awhile.

Hello everyone.

I know my crabs (PPs) need more room. Right now in a 40 gallon. I have a 75 gallon in the basement. My husband thinks it would be better to set up another 40 gallon and have 2 tanks.

What would you do?

How many crabs do you have, and what size?

One tank is always easier to take care of over the long run. Half the work, and less electricity to heat.
