I've been interested in the idea of trying to do a bioactive substrate ( 30 gallon ) and I've been thinking of introducing an Asiatic lilly and seeing if it could take root

Would it be safe? Image

I wouldn't. They known to be highly toxic to cats, even though its likely not to be an issue, but they not really tropical plants. From my understanding, they dont do well in hot or humid environments.

I want to add plants too. It’s a cool idea and I happen to already have so much chlorophytum (Spider plant). I hesitate to introduce anything without a lot of research first. I have various lilies in the yard and most grow pretty large too.
