Are the climbing toys for gerbils/rabbits safe to use in the tank?

Wood, hay, and straw products are prone to mold so keep that in mind.

Like said above toys can rot. It really depends on the product and on the hermit crab. Some crabs are very destructive and prone to eating things while others are not so keep that in mind too.
